The three founders of Sounds of Scotland are Doug, Cameron and Jack Gillespie. With a vast range of experience in all things music and highland experiences we have the abilities to help with your event.
Cameron: has recently graduated from Scotch College where he was in the pipe band and partook in the 2022 Virginia Tattoo as well as many other events both with school and privately. Cameron was also apart of the Army Cadet Drums and Pipes completing many different events including dinners and parades. He is currently in the process of joining the Army Reserve Pipes and Drums.
Jack: is apart of the Army Reserve Pipes and Drums playing at many different events including concerts, parades and dinners as well as many different events privately. He was previously apart of the Army Cadet pipes and drums in which he performed at many different events. Jack plays the bagpipes and Bugle allowing for the coverage of different events.
Doug: has been in the army reserve for more than 30 years and has been playing the bagpipes for 20 plus years. Recently Doug has raised a pipe band at 16 battalion as well as regularly attending the Army Reserve Pipes and Drums and the Army Cadets Pipes and Drums practices and events. In these events Doug has also specialised in the address to the haggis and the reading of various Scottish poems with some singing included also.
